Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive electrical safety testing on a variety of products, including consumer electronics, industrial machinery, and renewable energy systems.
- Ensure compliance with international and local electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL, EN, SNI).
- Prepare detailed test reports, documenting findings, deviations, and recommendations for compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product developers and certification bodies, to address safety concerns and improve product designs.
- Operate and maintain specialized testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and calibration in accordance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical safety regulations, testing methodologies, and industry trends.
- Assist in the development of test procedures and protocols for new and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding compliance requirements and certification processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in electrical testing, product compliance, or a similar role, preferably in a certification or testing laboratory.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC 60335, IEC 60950, UL 60950, EN 62368).
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, high-voltage testers, and insulation resistance testers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
