Responsibility
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and chemists.
- Oversee the design, scale-up, and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with global regulatory standards, including GMP, HSE, and Quality guidelines.
- Manage complex technical projects, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Collaborate with global site leaders to implement innovative process technologies and digital solutions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks within the production lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven track record of leadership in a regulated manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Deep understanding of chemical process development and scale-up methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to technical decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead through change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse global teams.
