Responsibility
- Conduct financial statement audits for real estate clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations.
- Assess and evaluate internal controls and risk management processes for property development and investment firms.
- Prepare and review audit work papers, documentation, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with senior auditors to identify financial risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for clients in the real estate sector.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial data, explanations, and supporting documents for audit procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in real estate accounting and auditing.
- Assist in tax compliance and advisory services related to real estate transactions and holdings.
- Contribute to team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance departmental expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in audit, assurance, or real estate accounting (fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards (PSAK for Indonesia is advantageous).
- Proficiency in audit software, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with real estate financial statements, property valuations, and lease accounting is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements (if required).
