Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the GIC group.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with investment and operational teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present executive-level financial reports, including variance analyses, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Drive process improvements in financial modeling, reporting automation, and data visualization.
- Support capital allocation decisions by evaluating ROI, cost-benefit analyses, and scenario modeling.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning and financial excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA/CPA/ACCA certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), preferably in investment management, banking, or a multinational corporation.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting using tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of investment accounting, portfolio performance metrics, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is advantageous.
