Responsibility
- Assist in the review and analysis of tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify key project requirements.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and preliminary cost estimates for tender submissions.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to source competitive quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of material costs, labor rates, and historical bid data to improve estimation accuracy.
- Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring adherence to client requirements and deadlines.
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required to gather necessary information for bid development.
- Monitor tender portals and assist in the documentation process for successful contract bidding.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tender deadlines under pressure while maintaining high standards of work.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and construction industry standards in Singapore is highly advantageous.
