Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of mall equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections, diagnose technical issues, and oversee repairs or upgrades in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to execute maintenance projects, renovations, and emergency repairs efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to improve sustainability, reduce operational costs, and enhance system performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols, conducting risk assessments and mitigating hazards proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and compliance documentation for audits and reporting.
- Provide technical guidance and training to facility staff, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional engineering license (P.E.) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or mall maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distributions, plumbing, and fire protection systems in commercial or large-scale facilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other facility management software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams, liaise with stakeholders, and present technical reports.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties for emergencies, and adapt to the dynamic needs of a 24/7 retail environment.
