Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of business technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT needs and recommend scalable, cost-effective technical solutions.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations to safeguard company and client information.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party technology solutions to support business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI integration, and data analytics projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, business technology solutions, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in system administration, network management, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and risk management practices.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or ITIL) and tools (Jira, Trello).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with insurance industry IT systems and regulatory requirements is highly advantageous.
- Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL are a strong asset.
