Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of business technology solutions to support MSIG’s insurance operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient systems.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage IT projects from conception to deployment, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and best practices to safeguard company data and assets.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, business technology solutions, or a similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proven expertise in system architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications in ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
