Responsibility
- Lead and manage tax advisory projects, providing strategic solutions to clients on complex tax matters, including compliance, planning, and risk management.
- Assist in tax litigation cases, including preparing legal documents, representing clients in disputes, and negotiating with tax authorities.
- Conduct tax audits and reviews to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations, identifying potential risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related issues and delivering tailored solutions to meet their business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and accounting professionals, to provide integrated tax solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that clients and the firm remain compliant with the latest developments.
- Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting, litigation, or compliance, preferably in a consulting firm or corporate tax department.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with experience in tax audits and dispute resolution.
- Proven ability to analyze complex tax issues, develop strategic solutions, and communicate them effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality tax advisory services in a consulting environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in tax software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for tax analysis and reporting.
