Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, packaging, and services from approved suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Evaluate supplier performance, track KPIs, and recommend improvements for cost and quality optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, finance) to align purchasing with demand forecasts.
- Maintain updated records of contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier communications.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose strategic purchasing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and local/regional regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles (manufacturing/FMCG industry preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and just-in-time (JIT) procurement.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
