Responsibility
- Assist the Supervisor in overseeing daily operations of the fruit and vegetable department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation to meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Supervise and support a team of staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to minimize losses.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Drive sales and customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotions, displays, and special events.
- Prepare reports on department performance, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory or assistant supervisory role within the fresh produce or grocery sector.
- Strong knowledge of fruit and vegetable products, including quality standards, storage, and handling.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
