Responsibility

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability and minimize shrinkage.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing layout that aligns with eco-shop’s brand identity and sustainability values.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Train and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the store.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance in a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the retail industry.
