Responsibility
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze reports, and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to manage stock levels, place orders, and minimize wastage.
- Conduct regular store audits to maintain visual merchandising standards, cleanliness, and product presentation.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store events to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in the FMCG or fresh produce sector.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, sales forecasting, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and retail management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
