Responsibility

  • Assist the Store Manager in daily retail operations, including opening/closing procedures and staff scheduling.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely restocking.
  • Train and mentor retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Handle cash management, including reconciliations and deposit preparations.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance satisfaction.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, such as waste reduction and eco-friendly product promotions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Proficient in POS systems, inventory software, and basic Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Knowledge of sustainable retail practices and eco-friendly products is advantageous.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification is a bonus.
