Mass Precision is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Safety Officer / Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Perai, Penang. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety across our site operations. You will support the Safety Coordinator in implementing robust safety programs, ensuring full compliance with national safety regulations, and fostering a culture of workplace excellence.

Responsibility
- Assist the Safety Coordinator in developing and implementing comprehensive site safety programs.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, logs, and incident reports in accordance with local regulations.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating workplace safety training and induction programs for new hires and contractors.
- Monitor the usage and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the facility.
- Support the team in emergency response planning and drills.
- Ensure all safety signages and warning labels are clearly visible and up-to-date across the site.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and related regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possession of a Yellow Book (SHO) or Green Book (AO) certification is a strong advantage.
