Responsibility
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training and motivating the team to deliver a memorable dining experience.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in compliance with Nando's policies and local regulations.
- Monitor and manage restaurant finances, including sales targets, cost control, and budget adherence.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing team members to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Uphold Nando's brand values and ensure consistency in service and product offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff effectively.
- Proven ability to manage restaurant operations, including inventory, scheduling, and financial performance.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills for reporting and administration.
