Responsibility
- Assist in preparing and analyzing cost estimates for construction projects.
- Support the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify measurements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure budget adherence.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and financial transactions.
- Assist in valuing completed work and preparing interim payment certificates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on project financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market is a plus.
