Responsibility
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, providing guidance and solutions to enhance product consistency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Support the training of staff on quality assurance protocols, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, preparing reports for management review to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or injection molding.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Proficient in using quality inspection tools and equipment, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams across different departments.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., CQA, CQE) is a plus but not required.
