Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services in alignment with company policies and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to forecast demand and align procurement activities with operational needs.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, lead times, and quality control.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, budget adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or agricultural sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management and contract administration.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
