Responsibility
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing night shift operations to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Monitor and maintain production schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with team members to allocate resources, manage workflows, and resolve operational issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Prepare and submit daily production reports, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and improvements.
- Implement and enforce company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
- Train and mentor new hires and junior staff on production processes, best practices, and safety measures.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, quality control) to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to work night shifts and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with production management software and tools (e.g., ERP, MES) is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
