Responsibility
- Manage the procurement process for all hotel supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with department heads to forecast procurement needs.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and sustainability practices in all procurement activities.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their reliability and product quality.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and track procurement expenditures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the hospitality or luxury service industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize procurement processes.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
