Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of the Unit Trust Operations department, ensuring all transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers) are processed accurately and on time.
- Monitor and reconcile unit trust accounts, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, IT, Customer Service) to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce errors, and optimize turnaround times.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, key metrics, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices in unit trust operations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members to foster professional growth and operational excellence.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex operational issues, resolving them efficiently to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in unit trust operations, fund administration, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of unit trust products, regulatory frameworks (e.g., MAS, SGX), and operational workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial software or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with global teams.
- Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or relevant operational certifications are a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
