Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the administration of sponsored research grants, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with principal investigators, research teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth grant operations.
- Develop and implement administrative processes to enhance efficiency in research project management.
- Monitor grant expenditures, prepare financial reports, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals, including budget development and documentation.
- Provide training and support to research staff on grant management policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sponsored research activities.
- Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to address any compliance or contractual issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in research administration, grant management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of grant compliance regulations and financial management principles.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using financial and grant management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical or academic research environments is highly desirable.
