Responsibility
- Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with biostatisticians to analyze complex datasets, generate statistical reports, and interpret results for research publications.
- Coordinate with principal investigators, research coordinators, and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee data collection, validation, and management processes to maintain accuracy and integrity in research databases.
- Prepare and review research protocols, grant applications, and progress reports for submission to funding bodies and institutional review boards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline research workflows and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to junior research staff on data management, statistical software, and research methodologies.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in clinical research and biostatistics to recommend best practices for the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research, data management, or biostatistical analysis, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, or Stata, and strong Excel skills for data manipulation.
- Experience with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) tools (e.g., REDCap).
- Familiarity with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and regulatory requirements for human subject research.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience drafting research documents and presenting findings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, interdisciplinary team.
