Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical quality improvement programs to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, ISO).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in clinical processes and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses (RCA) to prevent recurrence and improve system resilience.
  • Design and deliver training programs on quality management, patient safety, and clinical governance for staff.
  • Analyze clinical performance metrics and generate reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the hospital’s accreditation and certification processes by preparing documentation and coordinating inspections.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical quality management, patient safety, or healthcare governance.
  • Certification in Quality Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, CPHQ) or Patient Safety is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., MOH Singapore, JCI, ISO 9001) and accreditation standards.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, auditing, and performance measurement in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex quality concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare quality software (e.g., Qlik, Tableau).
