Responsibility
- Lead and oversee daily procurement operations, ensuring timely acquisition of ship spare parts, truck components, and plantation equipment.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies through supplier negotiations, bulk purchasing, and contract management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve supply chain disruptions proactively.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, forecasts, and KPIs to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in marine, heavy equipment, or agricultural sectors.
- Proven expertise in sourcing ship spare parts, truck components, and plantation machinery.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost reductions and favorable terms.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English and Indonesian.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Certifications in CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are highly advantageous.
