Responsibility
- Oversee the end-to-end material control process for ICT projects, ensuring timely procurement, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to verify material specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or material management systems, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize transportation routes, reduce lead times, and minimize costs for material deliveries.
- Monitor material usage and consumption patterns, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on material status, shortages, and risks to project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for material handling and storage.
- Support cross-functional teams during project execution, troubleshooting material-related issues to avoid delays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material control, inventory management, or logistics, preferably in the ICT or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of managing material flows for large-scale projects, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and material management software; familiarity with barcoding or RFID systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, forecast material needs, and identify trends or risks.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
