Responsibility
- Operate press brake and bending machines to fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate machinery to ensure accurate bends, angles, and dimensions.
- Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications and perform quality checks.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to machine operation guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical diagrams to determine production requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Document production data, including quantities, measurements, and any issues encountered during operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Strong understanding of metal properties, bending techniques, and tooling adjustments.
- Ability to operate CNC or manual press brake machines with precision and efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting common operational issues.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy metal sheets (up to 20-25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
