Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the administration of research grants, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with principal investigators, finance teams, and external stakeholders to track budgets, expenditures, and reporting for funded projects.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, progress updates, and audit documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the development and review of grant proposals, including budget preparation and narrative sections.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to milestones and contractual obligations.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., HR, Procurement) to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain organized records and databases for grant-related documentation and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, workshops, and conferences related to research initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in grant administration, financial management, or research coordination, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance in a research environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with grant management software.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with medical research terminology and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IRB, NIH, or equivalent) is preferred.
