Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair activities for the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect vehicles and machinery to diagnose issues, recommend repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Lead a team of mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their technical skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability while controlling costs.
- Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Assist in budget planning for maintenance operations and provide input on capital expenditures for fleet upgrades.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Diploma or vocational training in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components in commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the logistics and transportation industry.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to document and report technical issues clearly.
