Responsibility
- Negotiate and secure licensing agreements with major digital platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube) to optimize royalty income.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand digital licensing opportunities and revenue streams.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform licensing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and member services, to ensure seamless execution of licensing deals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including digital service providers, music publishers, and songwriters.
- Prepare and present reports on licensing performance, revenue projections, and market insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with copyright laws, licensing regulations, and company policies in all negotiations and agreements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote digital licensing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Music Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital licensing, music publishing, or a related industry.
- Proven track record in negotiating and managing licensing agreements with digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of copyright laws, music licensing, and digital distribution models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
