Responsibility
- Lead and manage M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications for M&E systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Implement cost-saving measures and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale M&E projects in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering design software.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or relevant engineering certifications is a plus.
