Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the IT infrastructure and security operations within a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor network performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into manufacturing processes.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure and security management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of network security, system administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in IT security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 environment and respond to IT emergencies as needed.
