Responsibility

  • Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (warehouse, procurement, and sales) to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
  • Implement and maintain WMS (Warehouse Management System) protocols to enhance visibility and traceability of stock.
  • Lead cycle counting and physical inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and improve data integrity.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for inventory handling, labeling, and documentation.
  • Analyze inventory turnover ratios and recommend improvements to optimize stock holding and reduce carrying costs.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise inventory staff to ensure adherence to company policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role, preferably in retail or FMCG.
  • Proficient in WMS, ERP systems, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning, RFID, or automation tools in warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and ability to work under pressure.
