Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
- Manage Bursa reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to meet statutory obligations.
- Drive finance transformation projects, including system upgrades, process automation, and best practice implementations.
- Conduct strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries to standardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis for senior leadership review.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to optimize resource allocation.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and address findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) are highly advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in group accounting, consolidation, or financial reporting, preferably in a listed company or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), and Bursa reporting requirements.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.
