Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the functional testing team to ensure accurate and efficient execution of test protocols for electronic products.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized testing procedures in compliance with industry and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve product defects or performance issues.
- Analyze test data and generate comprehensive reports to support root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, new technologies, and safety protocols in functional testing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize defects.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, IPC, and other relevant industry standards for electronics manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in functional testing, quality assurance, or a related role within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Strong knowledge of test automation, debugging tools, and electronic measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers).
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, and other industry standards for electronics assembly and testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MES systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving technological demands.
