As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Finance leadership team to drive excellence in reporting, analysis, and process improvement. Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with FRS.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Streamline and automate existing financial processes to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure successful and smooth audit processes.
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights on monthly financial performance.
- Assist in tax filing preparations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on corporate secretarial matters.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or auditing.
- Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is highly preferred).
- Strong command of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
