Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Faculty Affairs department, including managing faculty appointments, promotions, and tenure processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate faculty meetings, committees, and governance activities, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date faculty records, databases, and documentation in accordance with institutional standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of faculty policies, guidelines, and procedural manuals to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with HR, finance, and academic departments to resolve faculty-related inquiries and ensure seamless workflow.
- Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, and communications for senior leadership and faculty members.
- Support the organization of faculty recruitment, onboarding, and orientation programs for new hires.
- Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives aimed at improving faculty engagement and institutional effectiveness.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in administrative support, preferably within an academic or higher education setting.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
