Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to faculty members, including meeting coordination, document preparation, and correspondence management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of faculty policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance academic operations.
- Coordinate faculty recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with university standards and regulations.
- Manage faculty records, databases, and reporting systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including academic departments, senior management, and government agencies, to facilitate smooth faculty operations.
- Organize and support faculty events, workshops, and committees, including logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor budgets and expenses related to faculty affairs, providing financial reports and recommendations as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to streamline administrative workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in administrative support, faculty affairs, or higher education management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a professional and diplomatic approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with academic policies, faculty governance, and compliance requirements in a university setting.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive faculty and institutional information.
