Responsibility
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in supervising daily laundry and linen operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational procedures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linen, uniforms, and laundry supplies, coordinating procurement as needed.
- Train, mentor, and schedule laundry staff to optimize productivity and maintain a high-performance team.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all laundry services meet the hotel’s luxury standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of laundry equipment, troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Front Office) to ensure timely and efficient linen distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including usage, costs, and staff performance metrics.
- Promote a safe and hygienic work environment by adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in laundry operations within a hotel or hospitality setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, chemical handling, and fabric care best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic budgeting principles.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by 24/7 operations.
