Responsibility
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high performance and consistency in food preparation.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation and presentation to uphold brand standards.
- Assist in scheduling shifts, managing staff attendance, and resolving any operational issues.
- Support the Kitchen Manager in achieving financial targets by controlling costs and improving operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume or cloud kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle fast-paced kitchen operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
- Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality culinary experiences.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
