Responsibility

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards and efficiency.
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste while maintaining portion control and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts for high-quality ingredients.
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in implementing new policies, procedures, and training programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and POS systems.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
