Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Implement and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate financial risks.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Support audit processes by liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the fitness, retail, or service industry is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
