Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the palm oil refinery, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize refining processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies and process improvements to enhance refinery operations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a refinery or similar industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of palm oil refining processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools for process monitoring and control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations relevant to the palm oil industry.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing operational demands.
