Responsibility
- Develop 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Create detailed assembly drawings and bills of materials (BOM) for electronic enclosures
- Design sheet metal components and weldments for manufacturing
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Generate technical documentation and fabrication layouts for production
- Perform basic material selection and specification for engineering projects
- Assist in prototyping and testing of mechanical components
- Maintain organized digital archives of all engineering drawings and revisions
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience with SolidWorks (3D Modeling, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldments)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for fabrication drawings
- Basic knowledge of engineering materials and their properties
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for electronics enclosures
- Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
