Responsibility
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment onboard passenger vessels.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in emergency electrical repairs and system recoveries.
- Support the implementation of energy-efficient practices and technologies.
- Participate in onboard training and safety drills as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a maritime or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with maritime electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging environments.
- Basic knowledge of automation and control systems is a plus.
