Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes to improve accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
- Drive financial transformation projects, including system migrations, automation initiatives, and process standardization across global entities.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to align R2R strategies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of R2R functions and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards while maintaining robust internal controls and audit readiness.
- Mentor and coach finance teams on best practices in financial reporting, close processes, and data integrity.
- Partner with external auditors and stakeholders to facilitate smooth audits and resolve complex accounting issues.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in financial technology (e.g., ERP systems, AI, RPA) and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in R2R, financial reporting, or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or project management role.
- Proven track record of leading financial transformation projects, including system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and multi-entity consolidation in a global environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Experience in process automation, data analytics, or digital finance tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international setting with a focus on continuous improvement.
