Responsibility

  • Strategic Leadership: Assist the Director in developing and executing departmental strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of high-end corporate, social, and leisure events, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients, vendors, and partners to secure repeat business and referrals.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train a team of event professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and optimize costs while maintaining Rosewood’s luxury standards.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative event concepts to keep Rosewood at the forefront of Bali’s hospitality scene.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with F&B, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive event execution.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all events adhere to brand guidelines, safety protocols, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in event management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within luxury hospitality.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of high-end event planning, vendor management, and client expectations in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to motivate teams, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts under pressure.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills to maximize profitability.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and MS Office Suite.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are advantageous.
