Responsibility
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-level learning analytics strategies to enhance student success.
- Oversee the design and maintenance of data-powered competency frameworks across various academic departments.
- Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to integrate AI-driven tools into the learning management system (LMS).
- Analyze complex educational datasets to identify trends, predict performance, and recommend data-backed pedagogical improvements.
- Manage end-to-end projects, including vendor selection, budget oversight, and stakeholder management.
- Drive the ethical application of AI in classrooms, ensuring compliance with data privacy and institutional policies.
- Mentor a team of data analysts and technical specialists to foster high performance and innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Education Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in learning analytics, AI development, or institutional research within an academic setting.
- Proven track record of building and scaling competency-based frameworks or data-driven initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Deep understanding of pedagogical theories and the impact of EdTech on student outcomes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the university.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into non-technical strategic recommendations.
