Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of Design Engineers to deliver high-quality precast concrete designs and detailing.
- Oversee the development of structural drawings, shop drawings, and 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla).
- Ensure all designs comply with local and international building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to align design outputs with construction timelines and budgets.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide constructive feedback to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage project documentation, including design calculations, reports, and as-built drawings.
- Stay updated with advancements in precast concrete technology and recommend innovations to enhance productivity.
- Resolve complex design challenges and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in precast concrete design, detailing, or structural engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, or similar CAD/BIM software.
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete systems, load calculations, and connection details.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PE (Professional Engineer) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
